Xresin transparent FR PET masterbatch: mainly for fiber spinning, achieving V2 at 18–20 phr. It can also be used for sheet extrusion and injection molding, where 5–6 phr achieves V2–V0 at 1.6 mm (depending on test standard) while maintaining transparency.
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is widely used in polyester fiber, transparent sheet and packaging. Flame-retardant PET must deliver flame retardancy without compromising spinnability in fiber production or transparency in sheet.
Xresin transparent FR PET masterbatch is primarily a spinning grade: 18–20 phr achieves V2 in spinning. For sheet extrusion and injection molding, 5–6 phr enables 1.6 mm parts to achieve V2–V0 (depending on test standard), and parts remain transparent.

Why Choose It for Flame-Retardant PET?
- One masterbatch, multiple processes:Works for spinning, sheet and injection molding, reducing the number of materials you stock.
- Stays transparent:Transparent PET sheet and parts remain clear after flame-retardant treatment.
- Lower cost:Produce FR products simply by adding masterbatch to general-purpose PET chips.
- Finished-product testing:Finished fiber and textile products must be tested separately to the textile flame-retardancy standards of the target market.

Main Applications
- Flame-retardant polyester fiber, filament and staple fiber
- Fibers for FR fabrics such as home textiles, curtains and tents
- FR fibers for transportation and automotive interiors
- Transparent FR PET sheet:Electrical insulation sheets, appliance liners, display packaging
- Transparent FR PET injection-molded parts
FAQ
Can the FR PET masterbatch be used for spinning?
Yes. This is primarily a spinning grade; 18–20 phr achieves V2 in spinning.
How much is needed for transparent PET sheet?
For sheet extrusion or injection molding, 5–6 phr achieves V2–V0 at 1.6 mm; the exact rating depends on the test standard.
Do fabrics made from FR fiber need testing?
Yes. Finished products such as fabrics and curtains are usually tested to textile flame-retardancy standards; please test finished products according to the requirements of your target market.
