Xresin PC thin-wall transparent FR masterbatch: at 5–6 phr, 0.8 mm transparent PC parts achieve UL 94 V0. Bromine- and chlorine-free, it solves the base-color problems caused by FR masterbatches, with a clean base color and consistent batches.
The thinner the part, the harder it is to make flame-retardant: the same material may pass V0 at 2.5 mm but often only reaches V2, or fails, at 0.8 mm. As electronics and appliances become lighter and thinner, demand for flame-retardant thin-wall transparent parts keeps growing.
At 5–6 phr, Xresin PC thin-wall transparent FR masterbatch enables 0.8 mm transparent PC parts to achieve UL 94 V0 while maintaining transparency, a clean base color and batch consistency. This grade is bromine- and chlorine-free with a small amount of fluorine, and is suitable for products without fluorine restrictions.

FAQ
Can 0.8 mm transparent PC achieve V0?
Yes. With 5–6 phr of PC thin-wall transparent FR masterbatch, 0.8 mm transparent PC parts can achieve UL 94 V0.
Does this masterbatch contain halogens?
It contains no bromine or chlorine, but a small amount of fluorine. For products with fluorine or PFAS restrictions, choose the 2.5 mm halogen-free grade or consult us first.
How does it differ from the 2.5 mm grade?
The 0.8 mm grade is designed for thin-wall parts and achieves V0 at thinner gauges; the 2.5 mm grade is a halogen-free formulation added at approx. 5%, suited to parts with walls around 2.5 mm.
